What is right for one person is obviously not going to be right for all. This is clearly defined in this quote by Steve Jobs: “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.”
The amount of time we get to live on this planet is limited and it would be wrong to waste anything doing what the people around you do. If you want to live your life differently, then do it and don’t worry that others feel you could be wrong.
Let them do what they think is right for themselves and don’t be swayed by their criticism as you will not get the chance to make the decision again. Steve Jobs did not believe that there was a need to listen to what others thought before making a decision and he was certainly opposed to lack of courage allowing the wrong decision to be made.
